The Alphatron JMA-610 is a river radar set for inland navigation, tested and refurbished, available with a 7ft or 9ft antenna.
Overview
The JMA-610 is the successor to the JMA-609 and works as the navigation centre of an inland wheelhouse. The 19″ colour LCD with 1280 x 1024 pixel resolution shows a radar picture of 270 mm or more in diameter, and the set delivers 4.9 kW of transmit power with the 7ft slot antenna. Digital processing keeps small targets visible in rain and clutter, AIS targets are presented on the radar picture, and the display can be switched into a multifunctional presentation that combines radar with other navigation information. The set is built up from a scanner unit, a radar signal processing unit and the display unit, with the antenna available in 6, 7 or 9 foot widths.

The JMA-610 sits between the JMA-609 and the current JMR-611 in the inland radar range, sharing the same installation philosophy and antenna options.
