The ComAp InteliDrive DCU Marine is a certified modular engine controller for marine propulsion and auxiliary engines, tested and working.

Overview

The InteliDrive DCU Marine monitors, controls and protects a diesel engine, either locally at the panel or remotely. It communicates with the engine’s own electronic control unit over CAN using the J1939 standard, with KWP2000 also supported and a redundant J1587 bus used if J1939 fails, so engine data such as load, temperatures and fault codes is read directly from the ECU rather than from separate senders. On board the controller itself there are 14 binary inputs, 14 binary outputs and 8 analogue inputs for the signals that do not come over the bus, and speed and load control can be commanded over J1939 or J1587. Up to ten devices on the CAN-J1939 line can be monitored and controlled from one controller. A graphic display, configurable alarms and multi-language support complete the unit.
