The Furuno FCV-588 is an 8.4" dual-frequency colour LCD fish finder, professionally refurbished and tested before sale.
Overview
The FCV-588 uses Furuno's RezBoost signal processing, which sharpens resolution and target separation considerably when the set is used with a compatible narrowband transducer. Bottom Discrimination gives a graphical readout of the bottom composition — rock, sand, gravel or mud — at a glance, White Line traces the bottom contour with a thin white line so fish lying close to the seabed can still be distinguished, and ACCU-FISH analyses and displays the size of individual fish. The set works on 50 and 200 kHz with 600 W or 1 kW of output power and a range scale from 2 to 1200 m. It succeeded the FCV-585 in Furuno's range of digital sounders.
