The display unit of a Furuno GP-150 GPS navigator, the set that has been standing in commercial wheelhouses for years, tested and working.
Overview
The GP-150 was built for professional use, and it shows: a high contrast display that stays readable in daylight, keys you can work with gloves on, and a housing meant to keep going. It holds waypoints and routes, shows plotter, highway and steering displays, and feeds position, course and speed to radar, AIS, autopilot and voyage recorder. The back carries the antenna connector and four data ports, so it can serve several instruments at once. On a good many vessels this is still the source every other instrument reads from.
