The em-trak A100 is a fully integrated Class A AIS transceiver with built-in display, refurbished and ready for installation.

Overview

The A100 combines the AIS transceiver, GPS receiver and operator display in one housing, which keeps the installation compact on vessels where console space is scarce. It carries dual certification for deep sea and inland waterway use, so the same unit can be used on a coaster and on a Rhine vessel, and it meets the FCC, USCG, CCNR and Industry Canada requirements. Data is exchanged with ECDIS, radar and other bridge equipment over NMEA 0183, and the built-in silent mode stops transmission while reception continues, which is useful during naval or security-sensitive operations. Power input is 12 to 24 VDC and the unit is supplied with a monochrome LCD for target lists, messaging and configuration.
